Kieron Pollard, the former West Indies all rounder, will be the part of the England men’s coaching staff for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in West and USA. Pollard will work as the assistant coach, as confirmed by media release from England and Wales Cricket Board.

Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard has been appointed as Assistant coach of England men’s T20 World Cup Team in West Indies and USA. Pollard will provide his expertise of local conditions to the England men’s T20 World Cup team.
Kieron Pollard,who retired from International cricket last year and also announced his IPL retirement,has been a part of Mumbai Indians coaching staff as a batting coach. He was part of West Indies 2012 World Cup winning squad.
The 2024 T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the tournament and will be played in West Indies for the second time.As many as 20 teams will be part of T20 World Cup journey, which will played from 4 to June 30 in 2024.
Talking about England, they are the defending champions, having won the trophy by beating Pakistan in 2022 edition,which was played in Australia. England also won their maiden T20 World Cup in the year 2010 , which was held in West Indies.
